Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, #1 sister, aunt and friend to all, Tonja Kaye Myers Crosby, 46, passed away peacefully at her home in Washington City on March 3, 2010, surrounded by those that loved her most. She was born August 6, 1963 to Kenneth Boyd and Jenny Kaye Stapley Myers in Tillamook, Oregon. She married the great love of her life, Robert Glen Crosby on January 22, 1994 in St. George, Utah. Together they were blessed with six children, MaKenzie, Season, Bobby, KyAnn, DaCota and Shawni.

Tonja had a zest and love of life beyond anyone we know – she truly lived life to its fullest. She enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, camping in the Mo-Ho, boating and dancing. But the light in her eyes always grew brighter when she was spending time with her grandchildren and she treasured any time she spent around her family and loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving. She will be dearly missed.

Tonja was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved to make crafts, shop and had a special connection with animals and horses, once being selected as a rodeo queen.

While it is so hard to say goodbye to her even temporarily, we are certain a joyous reunion is taking place as she is reunited and preceded in death by her father Boyd, her special grandson, Titan and her grandfather Clifford Stapley.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert Glen Crosby of Washington, Utah, her mother Jenny Myers of Beaver, Utah, children Makenzie (Jacson) Rasmussen of Roosevelt, Utah, Season Ence, Bobby Crosby, KyAnn Hutchings, DaCota Dacus and Shawni Dacus all of St. George, Utah. Her brothers Todd and Tony Myers of Beaver, Utah and sisters Amber Murillo of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kristal Hale of Yuba City, California. Also her grandparents Ken and Sara Myers and Peggy Stapley. She also leaves behind her seven beautiful grandchildren, who she adored with all her heart: Bausten, Brinley, Taizlie, Mollee, Tracen, Laken and Addyson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00 am at the LDS Coral Canyon Ward building located at 1959 North Coral Canyon Boulevard in Washington, Utah. Viewings will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Beaver Southern Utah Mortuary, 195 North 200 West, Beaver, Utah and again prior to services from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Coral Canyon LDS Ward building. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah, under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.

Dear Robert, I was very, very sad to hear of your beautiful wife's passing. I hear Tonja fought this cancer for a long time. I am saddened for your loss and I hope you feel Heavenly Father's love for you every day. Best Wishes for the coming days and for your future. My beautiful daughter died of cancer a couple of years ago, so I know no words can adequately heal the loneliness and pain you feel. Just hang on and pray a lot. Sincerely, Ruth Phelps

Being able to play guitar and sing for Tonja and the family was a huge moment of privilege. Seeing how happy she was during the Oregon trip was a very big inspiration to me. You all are in my prayers.

Wendy Fasulo

My deepest sympathy to Jenny, Bob, Tonja's children, sisters, brothers and all her family. I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss and wish I could have attended Tonja's services. I heard Tonja's service was beautiful and the song sung by Denise Crosby was very moving. I always thought Tonja was such a beautiful person, inside and out and know she will be deeply missed by many who loved her.

My prayers continue to be with all of you during this time of mourning and healing.

All my love & prayers,
Wendy Fasulo
