Dear Haken and Family,
We were truly saddened to hear of Elaine's passing. We truly enjoyed your freindship and example as we served and learned together in the Missouri, Independence Mission and in the Riverview Ward. Elaine is a strength to everyone who knows her. She was an amazing missionary who gave and gave and taught with love. We will cherish the memories of our times together in the Mission field and in your home last fall. We love you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Anderson & Fife Family - So sorry to hear about Elaine's passing. I only had the pleasure of getting to know Elaine in the last few months while she was my patient but I will miss her sweet smile and positive attitude. Elaine was always gracious and looked fantastic even when she didn't feel well. She always brightened my day - she will be missed. Hope you have many wonderful memories of your wonderful wife, mother, grandma and sister to comfort you at this time.

To Haken and the entire Anderson family:
The Powell family loves you all and are praying for your family at this time! How grateful I am for temples, for eternal families and for the testimony we have that Elaine does not sleep, but has gone "home to that God who gave [her] life." (Alma 40). May the spirit of our Heavenly Father be with you all as you look forward to being reunited with Elaine one day as an eternal family.

Love, Greg and Ann Powell

What a sweet woman and what a great loss to her family and our community. I will always remember Elaine as a wonderful Relief Society president out here in Enoch and her philosophy on service and giving. She was a great friend and so fun to be around. We will miss her greatly.

Anderson Family --

We have always admired how close of a family you all are! This will give you so much strength to endure this loss. I loved serving with Elaine, she taught me in so many ways. "To love is to serve". The service today was amazing and I wouldn't have missed it for anything. I will never forget how I felt being there. May you all be blessed with the Lord's eternal love. Families are Forever!
