Georgia Frost Lunt
Georgia Frost Lunt passed away on August 22, 2010, at the age of 82. She was born in Kanab, Utah on October 13, 1927 to De Alton & Grace (Hamblin) Frost. Georgia was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, & aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, U. Robert (Bob); sister, MarDean, brother; Dee; & an infant son. Georgia is survived by her sister, Pauline (Tom) Lunsford of Pearce, Arizona; two sons, Robert (Jody) of Las Vegas, Nevada & Daniel (Michelle) of Sandy, Utah; five beloved grandchildren; Trisha (Ricky), Kevin, Robert, Jeffrey, & Christian; a great-granddaughter, Chanel, & a great-grandson, Jacob.
Georgia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints & enjoyed serving in various callings through the years. She was employed by the Clark County School District in the offices of J.M. Ullom & Gene Ward Elementary Schools until her retirement. During much of her early childhood she lived at the Grand Canyon. Summers were spent at the sunny North Rim & winters at the snowy South Rim. In middle school Georgia moved back to Kanab, which she lovingly referred to as “about three-fourths blue sky & the rest red hills.” Her summers throughout high school and college were spent working at Parry Lodge, which was the headquarters for many movie companies that produced films during that time.
Georgia’s family would like to thank the staff of Affinity Hospice of Life for their kindness, care, & compassion provided throughout the past year; especially our nurse, “Angel” Heidi, Nancy, Stephen, Janie, Linda, & JoAnna. We truly cannot adequately express our gratitude.
At Georgia’s request there will be a small family memorial service in Cedar City, UT, only. She will be dearly missed, but her love of laughter will live on forever in all who knew & loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to U. Robert Lunt Elementary School in Las Vegas, NV.

Dear Danny and family,
We are so glad that you had the great idea of stopping at the Parry Lodge to eat, while on vacation. It definitely will be a great memory for us of your mother. We loved her hospitality, her great knowledge, and her gift of the gab. It was always so fun to talk to her. Thanks for letting us get to know her. She will be missed.
With love,
The Sivertson's
