Dear Covington Family,

I was deeply saddened to learn of Alaine's passing. I wish I had learned about it earlier so I could come for the funeral.
I don't ever remember a time when I saw Alaine's spirits down. Even as I type this message I can hear her laugh. You may have lost her physical presence in your lives for a time, but you still carry memories of her in your hearts that you can recall at any time. I hope these memories will be a source of peace and comfort through out the years until you can be together again.
