Robert Edward Huntsman
On August 30, 2010, we lost our beloved Rob.
Robert Edward Huntsman was born June 30, 1995, in Cedar City, Utah, the youngest son of Kristi Ann Hansen and Jake Huntsman. Rob attended East Elementary School, Cedar Middle School and was a sophomore at Cedar High. Rob enjoyed being with his family and friends, teasing and playing with his nephew and younger cousins, reading, listening to music and playing video games. Rob had a witty sense of humor and always had a good "comeback."
Rob was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the position of Teacher. We had Rob in our lives for too short of a time. Words can’t convey how much we love him and how sorely he will be missed.
Rob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Rose Huntsman and his aunt, Pamela Reno. He is survived by his parents Jake and Kristi, brothers Ken and Dave, sister-in-law Tilli, his nephew Tracen, grandparents Gary and Beverly Hansen and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the many kind thoughts, assistance and condolences they have received during this sad time.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Cedar City LDS West Stake Center on 725 South 1100 West, Cedar City, Utah. Cremation services carried out under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.

Even though you live in my ward and subdivision, I did not know Robert. I want to express sympathy and let you know that people do care and feel so bad for your family. Know that members of the ward are so sorry for what has happened and that we love your family. You will see him again, we know that and you can look foreward to that day.

Robert was a good friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he will be greatly missed. Simply riding the bus to school together cultivated a great friendship. He was an amazing person and I look forward to seeing him again someday. I loved Robert and I offer my deepest sympathy to his family during this difficult time.

Though my friend and I grew apart over the years, the times I spent talking, joking, and laughing with Robert were some of the best of my life. An amazing person, with a beautiful soul, he will be sorely missed by me, and all who were lucky enough to be part of his life. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who knew him best.

Hi Jake,
I just wanted you to know how sorry I am on the loss of your son. I remember when you came to East Elementary and enrolled him and I saw you for the first time since High School. I truly am so sorry that you and your family would have to experience something like this.
