Margaret Grace Lund passed away in Milford, Utah on Monday morning, September 6, 2010. She was born on April 2, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter Condie and Grace Clara Hawkes Sanders. She grew up in Holliday, UT on her grandfather Hawkes farm and orchards. Margaret graduated from East High School and studied three years of nursing at County Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. She married Howard Niel Lund on July 1, 1933 in Farmington, UT and was later sealed to Howard in the Manti LDS Temple on April 7, 2001. Margaret was an excellent cook, professional seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day- Saints and served in many callings. She served many years as a makeup artist for Milford High School plays and productions. Margaret was a great artist and loved to do oils and water colors, she also did sketching and charcoal drawings. She belonged to the Rebecca Lodge, Lady Fireman and Engineers, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved to play pinocle bridge with friends and she attended at the Senior Citizens center.

Margaret is survived by her children Grace Higbee of Santa, CA, Bonnie (Arthur J.) Johnson of Kayesville, UT, Steven Niel (Barbara) Lund of Manti, UT, Laura Kay Gray of Milford, UT, Mary (Gary) Donithan of Cedar City, UT, and 18 grandchildren, 4 step- grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren and 15 great- great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Howard and her son-in-law Ralph Higbee.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 11, 2010 12:00 p.m. at Milford 1st Ward Chapel located at 748 West 600 South, Milford, UT. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am to 11:30 a.m. prior to services at Milford 1st Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Milford City Cemetery all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
