Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend Archie Clair Bulloch passed away on December 5, 2010 in Cedar City, Utah. He was born on August 14, 1926 in Cedar City, Utah to Angus Bladen and Mary Naomi Nelson Bulloch. He married Jerry Barney on April 14, 1951, their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple in 1964.

Archie was known as "A Hard Working Man", a sheepherder, truck driver, farmer and a lineman for California Pacific National. Arch was electrocuted in 1972 which resulted in the loss of his arms. This unfortunate accident did not stop Arch’s desire to make the most of life. He enjoyed time on the mountain property, (driving snowmobiles, four wheelers and riding horses) on the farm, western movies, winters in Yuma, AZ., and spending time with his sons and grandchildren. Most importantly, Archie enjoyed his time with his sweetheart, Jerry.

He is survived by his wife Jerry. His children; Lee Angus Bulloch of Cedar City, UT., Clay B (Carolyn) Bulloch of Cedar City, UT., Dean (Pauline) Bulloch of Cedar City, UT., and daughter-in-law Winora Bulloch of Cedar City, UT. His brother Melvin (Glenna) Bulloch of Cedar City, UT., sister Mary Klatt of St. Geroge, UT., along with 10 wonderful grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Lyn Ray Bulloch, daughter-in-law JoAnn Bulloch, brother Nelson Bulloch and sisters Cleo (Renn) Taylor, Afton and Helen Bulloch.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Rock Church located at 75 East Center in Cedar City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West in Cedar City, Utah. And on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 am also at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.

The family wishes to give thanks to the staff at Kolob and Hospice Services for the care and compassion shown to Arch and extended family.
