Raymond Anthony Perea
Raymond Anthony Perea, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and brother passed away in Richfield, UT on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the age of 81.
Ray was born on December 16, 1930 to Ernest and Caroline Silva Perea in North Los Angeles, CA. He married Margaret Louise Jennings on June 18, 1950 in Lancaster, CA.
Ray worked hard his whole life. He was a Farmer and him and Margaret were the owners of 76 Union Truck Stop in California. He had a great love for the outdoors, he went on many camping trips and outdoor adventures. Ray loved to deer hunt, go fishing, boating, gather wood, he was a champion in trap shooting in Beaver, UT and Lake Hughes, CA. One thing that Ray liked to do was keep his yard clean, he would have all the leaves picked up, he was very proud of his yard, but most of all he was a family man, he loved his family, grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Louise Jennings Perea of Beaver, UT, his daughter Mary (John) Aronson of Coalville, CA, his brothers James (Valeria) Perea of Parks, AZ, Donald (Joyce) Perea of Paragonah, UT and 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ernest Perea.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 28, 2012 at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver, UT. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral services at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, UT all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to sumortuary.com.
