Harry Douglas Farnow passed away January 23, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Douglas was born September 2, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry Douglas and Edith May Osborne Farnow. He graduated from High School and attended some college. Douglas enjoyed participating in the LDS youth activities.

He served in the U.S. Navy in World War 2 . He married Katherine Colleen Myers in Milford, Utah on March 26 1945. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. He and his wife shared a beautiful summer home in the Beaver Mountains that he dearly loved.

Douglas had a great love for the outdoors, he liked hunting, camping, fishing, boating, Golfing, he also was a pilot flight instructor. Douglas was in the Gaming Industry as a technician and operator for 40 years. "Douglas owned his own business’s and invested in real estate, as a hobby". His greatest love was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his Daughter, Victoria Lockwood of Henderson, NV, his grandchildren Melisa, Rocko Wimberly, his great-grandchildren Madison Armstrong, Rocko, Stormy, Willow Wimberly, his great-great-grandchild Caydence Eubanks, Brother, Russell ( Joani) Grimshaw of Salt Lake City, Utah, his Sister Anna Mae Hickman of St. George, Utah. He is preceded in death by his Wife Kathryn Colleen Farnow, parents, Brother John Grimshaw, Sister Norma Jean Christiansen, Sister- in-law Dorothy Grimshaw, Brother-in-law- Ray Christiansen.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver, Utah with a viewing 1 hour prior to Funeral Services at 9:30 am. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.

I remember doug from the canyon breeze golf course...he was a wonderful man and i just love colleen too. I have many happy memories of those two. our deepest condolences for your families loss...they loved their place on the mountain by uncle omni's cabin.
