Ron Bird
Ronald is a genuine american "small town boy." He grew up in a small town and it helped mold him into the person he is today.
Ron and his wife, Maxine, have an ever-growing family of five children, fourteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter. While raising their children, they were kept busy with all types of sports, including swimming, basketball, baseball and football. Although thier one daughter was different from their four boys, she was grown to be one of their best friends and a great mom. Nowadays, Ron and Maxine keep busy attending family blessings, baptisms and graduations in their family.
While living in Bell Gardens, California, Ron was first introduced to working in the funeral business. He relates that it only took him a few weeks to know that it was what he was meant to do for the rest of his life. The joy he recieves from helping others in a time of sorrow has been a blessing.
Civic duty and public service has always been an integral part of Ron's life. He has served on numerous boards and commissions, including terms on the Beaver City Council and as Mayor of Bell Gardens, California. He has been truly grateful for his last thirty-seven years in the business, which continues to confuse his co-workers since we understand Ron just turned 37 years old.
